XAVIER J. HARRIS
Xavier Harris is the founder and owner of Secret Squirrel Limited. Mr. Harris is a 20-year veteran of the Naval Submarine Force and retired SONAR Technician Submarines Master Chief Petty Officer having enlisted in July of 1995 and retired in 2015. He is the Navy’s 216th certified Acoustic Intelligence Specialist having completed 26 missions on every operational class of submarine in the U.S. Submarine Force. He graduated from Southern Illinois University in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in Workforce Education and Training earning Cum Laude distinction. Mr. Harris founded Secret Squirrel in 2024 with a single goal in mind. Provide professional Submarine Sailors with the very best operations training that is technically accurate and tactically relevant. To date, as CEO of Secret Squirrel, he serves as the Submarine Force ACINT SME for Training providing tactical and technical training to Professional Submariners at all levels to ensure their readiness to accomplish any mission assigned to them. He also serves as a Co-facilitator of Office of Naval Research’s Task Force Ocean Scientist to Sea. In this role, he is responsible to the Submarine Force to train individuals and teams in broad areas from Tactical Use of the Ocean Environment and Acoustic Signal Recognition to full scale combat operations. Tactical Training from Secret Squirrel is required for every deploying SSN/SSGN and every student assigned to the Submarine Command Course.
